Natalie Cole has Hepatitis C

Natalie is a survivor and is not giving up her battle with Hepatitis C she tells Entertainment Tonight. In September of this year, Natalie treated her disease with Chemotheraphy, which resulted in her cutting off all her hair because the chemo was making it fall out. She is now on Kidney Dialysis 3 times a week for 3 hours a day.

According to WebMd Hepatitis C can be contracted from sharing needles for injection drug use, sharing items such as razors or toothbrushes that might have had infected blood on them, getting a tattoo or body piercing with dirty tools, or being born to a mother that had hepatitis C.

Natalie used heroin in the early 1980's and specifically mentioned mexican brown heroin
