The longest running prime-time drama in the US is coming to the UK. Everything will be the same from the ominous music in the opening credits down to the "dum dum" that Saturday Night Live likes to use in their Law and Order parodies. The biggest difference is the wigs that are worn in the British courtroom. Also, prosecutors must stay behind a bench and are not allowed to march around the courtroom like in the US, which may pose as a problem because "it is quite restricting and I think the emotion within the court room scenes has been heightened from the American version to accommodate that."
