"Dark Knight's" Director Might be Forking Over Bail Money for Brother

Black sheep of the family, Matthew Francis Nolan, the older brother of "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan, was arrested by the FBI in his Chicago hometown. Matthew faces murder and kidnapping charges. He is awaiting extradition to Costa Rica. Nolan was arrested as he was leaving a bankruptcy hearing. Matthew's brother, Christopher Nolan is known for his breakthrough movie "Memento." His younger brother, Jonathan co-wrote "The Dark Knight."

According to the FBI complaint, the elder Nolan concocted a Joker-worthy plot to lure the victim, Robert Cohen, to a hotel by pretending to be a multimillionaire jewel merchant hoping to do a business deal. Instead, Nolan intended to recoup $7 million Cohen owed another Florida man. Nolan and an accomplice, Douglas Mejia, allegedly held Cohen ransom in hopes of extracting the money, but when the family failed to meet their demands, they killed him, per the complaint.

Mejia was convicted of murder and kidnapping and is in prison.

Rihanna and Chris Brown Saga

The latest news is that the two have broken up. They were also reported as "taking a break," but I guess that could mean broken up. Previous to that, the duo were supposedly recording a "duet" together right after the incident. Then it was reported that they were not recording together but working separately on their albums. Prior to that, Chris Brown who was nominated for a Nickelodeon award pulls out of the running after public disgust that Nickelodeon was still going to back the singer. For now I think the only thing we can be certain about is that Rihanna got beat up by Chris Brown, and they were both at Puff Daddy's mansion after the fact.

Kanye West Might Go to Jail

Kanye West will have to face some pretty serious charges of vandalism, battery, and grand theft. West could go to jail for 2 years, and his associate Don Crowley for 5 years.

This is a result of an incident where both persons attacked paparazzi last September, and it was all caught on tape. West lost his cool, lashed out at a photographer and smashed his camera before boarding a flight to Hawaii. If you didn't see it, the video is below. Kanye is in the grey hoodie [with a large, designer backpack]. His associate Don Crowley is in the red. Kanye grabs the photographer's camera and slams it to the ground. He has another part of the camera and also smashes that after the ground. His associate goes after TMZ's video camera and cameraman. Everyone in the background is shocked and vocalizes it. The airport workers and security try to help the photographers and camera men.

Natasha Richardson Dies from "Talk and Die" Syndrome

Natasha Richardson was taken off life support today. I'm not sure why they didn't leave her on longer, but the cause of death was from what doctors call "talk and die" syndrome. After the fall leading up to her death, Richardson was talking and joking. Dr. Carmelo Graffagnino, director of Duke University Medical Center's Neurosciences Critical Care Unit, told CNN that a person can seem perfectly normal after a fall and be lucid. Then all of a sudden the person will deteriorate. The injury is called an epidural hemorrhage, and the fall does not have to be hard at all. The injury generally occurs around the ear, where there is a major artery:

"There is an artery that runs above the skull and can get torn and begin to bleed above the lining of the brain." Graffagnino says.

"At that point all the pressure is pushed on the brain, causing it to swell but there is often no room for it to move inside the skull cavity. And as the pressure continues, it reduces blood flow to the brain and a patient would begin to feel the symptoms."

Immediate treatment is imperative after these falls because of the irreversible damage caused from the swelling in the brain. Even if there are no immediate symptoms it is important to have it checked out:

"One of the things we teach to trauma teams, is if a group of people are in a car crash and someone dies, we have to assume everyone else has serious injuries--even if they look good, and say they feel totally fine," Graffagnino said.

"Nausea, severe headache, glossy eyes, sudden sleepiness, are all common symptoms. Getting to a hospital within the first few hours is critical to prevent permanent brain damage, experts say. An emergency room team can quickly determine the severity of your injury. An emergency craniotomy -- opening of the skull -- surgery is often needed to stop the bleeding and control brain swelling."

Injuries like this can be prevented by wearing a helmet. My heart goes out to Richardson's family and friends.

Sasha Baron Cohen is filming his new movie, "Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America For The Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable In The Presence Of A Gay Foreigner In A Mesh T-Shirt," and he is sparing no conservative institution. Natasha Richardson in Tragic Ski Accident

Wife of Liam Neeson, Natasha Richardson, who comes from two generations of actors is the oldest daughter of Oscar-winner Vanessa Redgrave and late director Tony Richardson, is about to be taken off life support. The British actress who was last a guest judge on "Top Chef" fell during a skiing lesson in Canada. She was treated for her fall in a hospital in Montreal, but the British actress is now brain dead.

Employees said after Richardson fell, she was walking around and said she felt fine. About an hour later she was rushed to the hospital after she felt an extreme headache:

"She did not show any visible sign of injury but the ski patrol followed strict procedures and brought her back to the bottom of the slope and insisted she should see a doctor," said a statement from the resort, which is almost 80 miles northwest of Montreal.

"Approximately an hour after the incident Mrs. Richardson was not feeling good."

Richardson is now being transported to New York so that her mother and children can say goodbye to her before she is taken off life support. Neeson left the shooting of his movie to be by his wife's side in Canada.

DJ AM Sues for $20 Million

After the plane crash that left DJ AM and Travis Barker hospitalized with serious burns that killed both pilots of the plane, Barker's assistant Chris Baker, 29, and bodyguard Charles Still. DJ AM is suing for $20 million dollars in lost profits, medical bills, and mental pain and suffering. Following suit, Travis Barker, the mother of Stills, and Baker's widow are also suing the various corporations involved in the accident and the estate of the pilots. The defendants have denied any resposibility in the crash.

Doesn’t it look like part of his face got burnt and reconstructed? Details of their injuries were never fully revealed.

Andy Samberg to Host MTV Music Awards

30 year-old Andy Samberg got his start at the MTV Music Awards as a writer before landing a spot on SNL [Saturday Night Live]:

"it will be a sweet and satisfying homecoming. I can't wait to act really important."

Andy also grew up watching the awards. This will be the first time to host the show, which will air on May 31st. Andy Samberg is known for his short "music video" skits like "Dick in a Box," and "Laser Cats."

VAN SANT: Your character in the film is 37 years old, and you’re playing him as a 17-year-old. What was it like playing somebody so much older?

EFRON: At the time, it was the most unique opportunity that presented itself. There were several roles that I could have done where I would have played essentially another high school student, or they were romances or stories in a high school setting, and there were lots of things that people wanted to turn into musicals. But the whole idea of playing a 37-year-old guy as a 17-year-old was just the most exciting prospect for me. I was really intrigued by the idea. I’ve always been kind of an old man, so to speak.

VAN SANT: Was there something that you needed to do, some technique, in order to actually pull that off?

EFRON: Well, I couldn’t really relate to the character in a lot of ways, so I didn’t have that to work from. I worked a lot with Burr [Steers], the director, and Matthew [Perry], and just tried to think in terms of an older guy. He’s experienced life. He’s been through a lot that I haven’t been through yet. So it was a big change from High School Musical. You know, I’ve fallen in love, and I’ve not known what I want to do with my ownfuture—I still don’t know. But I’ve never had a daughter who I’m looking out for. I’ve never been proud of my son. I’ve never gotten a divorce. It was interesting trying to figure that out. It was definitely a change of pace. And it was great working with Burr, because he’s got this huge imagination, and this sense of people—not what they seem to be, or what they’re defined to be, or what they want to appear to be, but as they actually are.

In an interview with Fab Magazine, 22 year old Lady Gaga admitted to stripping and working as a waitress for money, despite her priviledged upbringing. Offered $250,000 for the role of a Russian villain called Whiplash, Oscar nominated Mickey Rourke will join Robert Downey Jr, Sam Rockwell and Samuel L Jackson in "Iron Man 2". Scarlett Johansson will replace British actress Emily Blunt as super spy Black Widow. "Iron Man 2" is scheduled to be released in May 2010.

Lindsay Lohan has a Warrant Out; Dog the Bounty Hunter Wants In

Lindsay Lohan has a warrant out for her arrest, stemming from her 2007 DUI hit-and-run. A warrant can typically mean that Lindsay failed a mandatory drug test or she failed to report to her probation officer. The Los Angeles County Police Department released this statement in an exclusive to Hollyscoop.com:

"In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued today [March 13] for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run.

"The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner."

This can only mean one thing, A "Dog the Bounty Hunter" /Lindsay Lohan episode which would also look like an episode of "Cheaters" when Lindsay Lohan goes ballistic at the club where "The Dog" has intercepted Lohan. Sam is in the back looking like a gnome, unable to assist.

Brody Jenner and Girlfriend Jade Busting out of Bikini in Hawaii
